My Journey

From an economics background to exploring Industry 5.0 and sustainability in all its forms

My story began with numbers and economic strategies, but the desire to innovate led me toward Industry 5.0. Here, technology and human sensitivity merge, creating businesses that are more sustainable, inclusive, and capable of looking ahead.
My journey toward sustainability has become a professional path. I have learned that to innovate means, above all, to build a more balanced world for responsible growth that stays close to people.

TrackOne: Smart Logistics for a Sustainable and Interoperable Agricultural Supply Chain in the Era of Digitization

This paper introduces TrackOne, a low-cost, GDPRcompliant logistics architecture for agricultural supply chains. By integrating IoT, Hyperledger Fabric blockchain, and GS1 EPCIS 2.0 standards, it enables real-time traceability and automated anomaly detection. Unlike enterprise solutions limited to RFID or temperature data, TrackOne fuses multimodal inputs, including ethylene, weight, and GPS, for predictive quality control and perishable goods management, reducing waste and extending shelf life. Aligned with EU goals such as the Physical Internet (PI) vision and circular economy practices, it supports data-driven decision-making and digital transition in agriculture. Validated with 127 smart containers over 179 days, TrackOne achieved 2.3 s traceability latency, over 1,200TPS throughput, and 93.4% anomaly detection accuracy, confirming its effectiveness for sustainable agri-food logistics.

The Influence of Technologies on Organizational Culture in Innovative SMES

The study analyzes the impact of digital technologies on organizational culture in SMEs within the telecommunications sector. The survey, based on three companies, revealed positive correlations between technology adoption and productivity, work quality, decision-making speed, and employee satisfaction, with particularly strong effects on productivity and satisfaction. While technology enhances performance, it requires cultural changes to fully realize its potential. The research highlights the importance of aligning technology with organizational culture, providing managers with guidance on integrating technology while balancing efficiency and cultural adaptation. Among its limitations is the cross-sectional nature of the study, which paves the way for future longitudinal research.
