SoftCOM 2025 - International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks

Conference Presentation

Brief Presentation

SoftCOM 2025 is an international conference on software, telecommunications, and networking, co-organized by the University of Split and IEEE. It is relevant to the Physical Internet project as it promotes advanced digital solutions for network interconnection and intelligent management, fostering innovation in distributed systems and sustainable logistics.

Presented Paper

At SoftCOM 2025, held in Split, Croatia, from September 18 to 20, I presented the scientific paper: “TrackOne: Smart Logistics for a Sustainable and Interoperable Agricultural Supply Chain in the Era of Digitization.” TrackOne is a low-cost, GDPR-compliant logistics solution for the agri-food sector. It integrates IoT, blockchain, and GS1 EPCIS 2.0 to enable real-time traceability and predictive anomaly detection. It represents a concrete case of the Physical Internet, aligned with EU objectives on sustainability and digitalization.
