Conference Presentation
Brief Presentation
I was delighted to take part in the 21st Conference of the Italian Chapter of AIS, held on 11–12 October 2024 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Piacenza. The event brought together academics, professionals, and innovators to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to information systems, digital transformation, and organisational culture. During the conference, I presented a scientific paper within the track T10 – Emerging Technologies and Organisational Culture, contributing to the debate on emerging technologies and their impact on business dynamics.
The Influence of Technologies on Organizational Culture in Innovative SMES
The study analyses the impact of digital technologies on the organisational culture of innovative SMEs in the telecommunications sector. A survey of three companies, using ANOVA, multiple regression, and SEM analysis, shows positive correlations between technology adoption, productivity, decision-making speed, work quality, and employee satisfaction, with the strongest effects on productivity and satisfaction. Technology use improves performance but requires profound cultural changes. The research highlights the importance of aligning digital innovation with organisational culture, offering practical guidance for managers on strategic integration and suggesting future longitudinal studies.
