Brief Presentation

The IICC-2026 – International Conference for Innovations in Intelligent Computing and Cybersecurity is one of the leading international scientific events dedicated to emerging technologies in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with particular attention to military applications. The event will take place from May 11 to 14, 2026, at the Military Technical College in Cairo, within the framework of the XVI International Congress on Electrical Engineering (ICEENG-2026).

The IEEE-sponsored conference represents an international platform for discussion among researchers, academics, and professionals on topics such as intelligent computing, machine learning, data science, cloud and edge computing, Internet of Things, and cybersecurity. The program includes keynote speeches by international experts, technical workshops, and sessions dedicated to young engineers, with the aim of promoting innovation, technology transfer, and the development of advanced skills.

Real-Time Corridor Performance Monitoring for Critical Freight: An AI-Enabled Decision-Architecture Framework for Predictive Disruption Management

Study objective
The study proposes an artificial intelligence-based decision architecture framework for real-time monitoring of railway corridor performance dedicated to critical freight transport, with the aim of supporting coordinated, timely, and traceable decision-making in disruption management.

Results achieved
The work integrates corridor KPIs, predictive analytics, and governance elements into a single multilayer architecture, improving disruption anticipation capabilities, decision consistency, and process transparency while maintaining a human-in-the-loop approach.

Field of study

The paper is framed within the research activities promoted by ERCI – European Railway Clusters Initiative ASBL, with particular reference to strengthening the resilience of European rail freight corridors and European industrial capacity within the LEADER 2030 project. The study explores topics related to military mobility, critical freight management, reserve-capacity and contingency train path mechanisms, the reinforcement of corridor governance, and real-time monitoring with predictive disruption management.

Educational objective

I participated in the conference to deepen my knowledge of artificial intelligence applications for railway resilience, governance of critical freight corridors, and military mobility, developing advanced skills in predictive monitoring and decision-support systems.
