The two presented papers analyze the role of artificial intelligence as a key enabler of distributed ecosystems. The first examines decentralized orchestration in the Physical Internet for road freight logistics, highlighting opportunities, risks, and trade-offs. The second extends the paradigm to the energy sector, proposing platform-based models for electricity distribution enabled by IoT, blockchain, and conditional payments.Location
